CVT

C'est le nom de l'organisation pour laquelle je vens de signer un an de contrat: Center for Victims of Torture. Ce que j'y fais est strictement identique à ce qui est annoncé dans le nom, nos "clients" sont bien des victimes de torture.
La definition de la torture? "the term 'torture' means any act by which severe pain or suffering, whether physical or mental, is intentionally inflicted on a person for such purposes as obtaining from him or a third person information or a confession, punishing him for an act he or a third person has committed or is suspected of having committed, or intimidating or coercing him or a third person for any reason based on discrimination of any kind, when such pain or suffering is inflicted by or at the instigation of or with the consent or acquiescence of a public official or other person acting in an official capacity."

Je commence à voir des patients, et tout à l'heure, je demandais a un père de famille qui n'arrive plus à communiquer avec ses enfants d'aller chercher un texte, un film, une poesie, un livre que sais je pour pouvoir decrire son etat à sa famille pendant la semaine qui vient. Il pris donc en apparté la traductrice-psy pour lui dire quelque chose, un peu géné, et là je me dis mince mon truc, il a pas trouvé que c'etait super ou alors il lui disait en apparté qu'il ne voulait pas de thérapeute etrangère ou que sais je. Mais non! en fait il etait géné car il avait un texte qu'il trouvait bien, mais c'était ecrit par le Hamas!!! et bien je me demande bien de quoi il s'agit, ce texte du Hamas... On verra la semaine prochaine.
